Mounted grinding stone points are made of pure aluminum oxide in various shapes to refine details in your work and smooth away imperfections while deburring precious and alloy metals. They will hold their geometry well and wear away gradually exposing fresh, sharpened grit on the surface while smoothing your piece faster than rubber abrasives. When using a long or thin shape bur, be sure to use a very light pressure to avoid breakage. They are ideal for finishing hard metals like hardened and mild steel, steel alloys, chrome cobalt, titanium, platinum and other precious and ferrous metals. Can also be used to add fine texturing to wood, ceramics, and porcelain.
